| Description | mirabilos' metapackage to flag UsrMove systems
This metapackage is used to flag systems that are accidentally
installed with UsrMove (e.g. by buster d-i), which are done by
debootstrap, not usrmerge, in order to not accidentally damage
the system by installing prevent-usrmove (since t̲h̲a̲t̲ damage is
already done). This package can be installed only when UsrMove
is enacted.
.
WARNING: Systems with this filesystem hierarchy are UNSUPPORTED
by Debian’s package manager dpkg. This WILL cause problems. In
Debian 12 (bookworm) and up, it is, however, the only officially
“supported” layout, no matter it breaks its package manager… |
