The .deb format is the Debian binary package file format. This manual page describes the old format, used before Debian 0.93. Please see deb (5) for details of the new format.

フ ォ ー マ ッ ト

フ ァ イ ル に は 2 行 の ASCII テ キ ス ト に よ る 形 式 情 報 が あ り 、 そ れ に 2 つ の gzip 圧 縮 さ れ た ustar フ ァ イ ル が 続 く 。

1 行 目 は 8 桁 に そ ろ え た 形 式 の バ ー ジ ョ ン 番 号 で あ り 、 旧 形 式 の ア ー カ イ ブ は す べ て 0.939000 で あ る 。

2 行 目 は ひ と つ 目 の gzip 圧 縮 tar フ ァ イ ル の 大 き さ を 意 味 す る (0 か ら 始 ま ら な い ) 十 進 数 の 数 値 文 字 列 で あ る 。

そ れ ぞ れ の 行 の 終 わ り に は 改 行 文 字 が ひ と つ 置 か れ る 。

1 番 目 の tar フ ァ イ ル は 、 制 御 情 報 を 含 む 幾 つ か の 平 文 フ ァ イ ル か ら な る 。 中 核 と な る 制 御 情 報 を 含 む control フ ァ イ ル は 必 須 で あ る 。

In some very old archives, the files in the control tarfile may optionally be in a DEBIAN subdirectory. In that case, the DEBIAN subdirectory will be in the control tarfile too, and the control tarfile will have only files in that directory. Optionally the control tarfile may contain an entry for ‘ . ’, that is, the current directory.

2 番 目 の gzip 圧 縮 tar フ ァ イ ル は イ ン ス ト ー ル さ れ る フ ァ イ ル の ア ー カ イ ブ で あ り 、 イ ン ス ト ー ル さ れ る シ ス テ ム の ル ー ト デ ィ レ ク ト リ か ら の 相 対 パ ス 名 が 格 納 さ れ て い る 。 パ ス 名 の 先 頭 に ス ラ ッ シ ュ (/)は な い 。
