autoheader - Create a template header for configure

SYNOPSIS

autoheader [ OPTION ] ... [ TEMPLATE-FILE ]

DESCRIPTION

Create a template file of C ā€˜#define’ statements for ā€˜configure’ to use. To this end, scan TEMPLATE-FILE, or ā€˜configure.ac’ if present, or else ā€˜configure.in’.
-h
, --help

print this help, then exit

-V , --version

print version number, then exit

-v , --verbose

verbosely report processing

-d , --debug

don’t remove temporary files

-W , --warnings = CATEGORY

report the warnings falling in CATEGORY

Warning categories include:

ā€˜obsolete’

obsolete constructs

ā€˜all’

all the warnings

ā€˜no-CATEGORY’

turn off the warnings on CATEGORY

ā€˜none’

turn off all the warnings

ā€˜error’

warnings are error

Library directories:

-A , --autoconf-dir = ACDIR

Autoconf’s macro files location (rarely needed)

-l , --localdir = DIR

location of ā€˜aclocal.m4’ and ā€˜acconfig.h’
